This week, Chiddy Bang released his first single off his upcoming album Breakfast, which will be out in February next year. The single “Ray Charles,” isn’t actually about the the legend, but rather an incident involving Chiddy’s brother falling asleep in the recording studio with his sunglasses on. Regardless of the story, the song has one of those hooks that will pull you in instantaneously. There’s very few hip hop acts that I can’t get enough of, but Chiddy is definitely one of them. I’m looking forward to checking out the rest of this album.

Check out Chiddy Bang’s remix of Darwin Deez’ Bad Day; one of my favorite tracks from Darwin Deez’ self titled album. This comes straight from Chiddy Bang’s The Preview EP which was released to Australian iTunes today, a week and a half before it is released in the here in the US (October 12).
This had to happen, it was completely inevitable that someone remixes, or samples from Cee - Lo Green’s F**k You. What’s fantastic, is it’s Chiddy Bang, it seems as though everything he does right now is awesome. Check out the remix, and get ready for his upcoming album.

Chiddy Bang - Hey London - From the Air Swelly Mixtape, this is quickly becoming my favorite track Chiddy Bang has done. It seems as though they took some cues from Passion Pit with curly electronic sounds, this song is totally catchy, upbeat and fun. This is another song that can compete with their remix of MGMT’s kids, it’s really well done.

Ellie Goulding - Under the Sheets (Chiddy Bang Remix) - Chiddy Bang is everywhere right now, after his single “Opposite of Adults” dropped, he remixed “Stylo” the very cool new Gorillaz track. Now this. Not to mention, there is some 8bit nintendo sounds in this, I’m really excited about it.
